At Simple Tutoring, we know every child learns differently. Some need extra support, others want to build confidence, and many simply need lessons explained clearly. Located in the Attwell Estate, Deanside, our home-based centre offers small, face-to-face English and Maths tutoring for Primary to Year 9 students. Lessons align with the Australian Curriculum and are tailored to each child’s needs in a supportive learning environment.
Maths Tutoring
Our Maths tutoring focuses on building confidence and skills step by step. We revisit foundational skills where needed, then guide students through concepts in a clear and structured way. Through guided practice, repetition, and encouragement, students begin to see improvement not just in their results, but in their attitude towards maths. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, they feel capable.
English Tutoring
From reading comprehension and spelling to grammar and essay writing, English can feel overwhelming when students don’t fully understand the basics. Our English tutoring helps students develop confident reading, writing, and communication skills. For younger students, we focus on building strong literacy foundations. For older students, we help refine comprehension skills, structure essays clearly, and improve vocabulary and written expression.
Prep to Year 9
For Primary students, our focus is on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy. For Secondary students, we strengthen subject knowledge while also developing independent study skills and exam readiness. By working in small groups with peers of a similar age and level, students feel supported rather than singled out. They learn that asking questions is encouraged, and that progress happens one step at a time.
